It doesn’t take a genius to understand why men would want to find the best colognes to attract females:
A man’s scent is essential to sexual attraction.
Multiple studies have shown that odor and attraction are strongly connected.
(In fact, in one study published in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, some women even said a man’s body odor was more important than his looks!)
Fortunately for guys who want to optimize their odds of attracting women, getting an attractive scent is as simple as wearing a masculine, sexy and seductive cologne.
We’ve put together a list of the best colognes to attract females that will help you maximize your man musk and put your best fragrance forward.

- Top notes of bergamot, blackcurrant leaves and apple
- Middle notes of birch and patchouli
- Base notes of musk, oakmoss and ambergris
The perfect scent for guys who want to express strength and sophistication in equal measure, Creed Aventus definitely makes a good impression on potential partners.
Whereas other colognes tend to favor a powerful scent that overwhelms women’s noses – often turning them off in the process – Aventus balances the masculine fragrance of musk and oakmoss with lighter notes like blackcurrant and even apple.
The result is a damn-near perfect cologne that imbues you with the sort of refined, masculine scent women tend to love.
…This cologne is truly awesome. Hermes terre has stiff competition for being my favorite smell on my husband [but] I’ve never smelt anything so uniquely delicious as Aventus.
It is manly without being overpowering. It has a sweetness without being feminine. All the notes just come together nicely to make it an all together excellent cologne.

- Best cold-weather scent
Rich with amber, cardamom and sandalwood, Tom Ford’s Noir Extreme has a warm and spicy scent that makes it perfect for enticing her to snuggle up close during the winter season.
I was expecting an old man smell, but instead got this fantastic seductive and sweet fragrance.
Definitely good for office and dates, preferably for the colder weather.

- Old-school, classic scent
A lot of colognes only stay on the market for a few years before they get discontinued, but thousands of guys have been using this popular scent as their everyday cologne for decades now.
An aromatic eau de toilette with top notes of clary sage and Brazilian rosewood, women tend to appreciate its fresh, spicy aroma.
My man has been wearing this for at least 20 years !
I love the scent !

- Mysterious and seductive scent
Armani has been making good cologne for a long time now, so it’s no surprise to find it ranking on a list of the best men’s colognes for attracting women.
Armani Code easily ranks among our top picks thanks to its sophisticated blend of apple, lavender, citrus, cumin and woods.
(To say nothing of the cool bottle design, of course.)
I’ve bought $100 bottles of this for my boyfriend, and he loves it! It’s so much cheaper on Amazon!
This scent is masculine yet personal; perfect for a man that you need a gift for.
The scent is so attractive, yet subtle; absolutely perfect!

- Great for summer
It’s a good thing Yves Saint Laurent – well known for making some of the best perfume on the market – turned their attention to men’s fragrances, because they’ve knocked it out of the park with Y.
A woodsy and aromatic blend of bergamot, geranium, lemon, ginger, pineapple, apple ambergris and musk, Y has a light and citrusy smell that’s perfect for spring, and will last a long time.
It’s a great scent to wear during the warm weather months, when a light citrus smell is going to be a lot more appealing to women than something heavy and musky.
Bought this new fragrance for my husband and it is fantastic!
Very long lasting and smells SO GOOD!

- Best scent for summer
Another eau de toilette that’s perfect for the spring and summer season, Armani’s Acqua di Gio Absolu EdP is a light, fresh scent that evokes the laid back feeling of cool water and a warm breeze.
It’s a good fragrance for those hot summer nights when neither you nor she is wearing many layers, and just want something fresh you can spray on your pulse points for a light but manly scent.
This has been my ultimate weapon on women.
EVERY WOMAN LIKES AQUA. I GET ASKED DAILY WHAT I WEAR💯💯💯💯🔥

- Clean, masculine and sexy
This is the right scent for guys who want to draw in the opposite gender.
(As Michel Germain put it, “When they smell your scent, the only place they will want to be is closer.”)
While the Sexual Pour Homme line consists of five variations, this Fresh version is the light but masculine notes of Italian bergamot, cardamom, cariander and mandarin.
I love this scent on my husband…
I prefer my husband wear this versus other colognes that he has.

- All natural pheromone cologne
Whether or not pheromone fragrances really attract more women than regular men’s cologne is debatable.
But the best pheromone colognes smell so damn good that it doesn’t matter, because they’re worth buying on the strength of the scent itself.
On that front, Rawchemistry definitely fits the bill thanks to its appealing citrus scent, all natural ingredients, and one of the lowest price tags on this list, which was low enough to nab it a spot on our list of the best cheap colognes.
I bought it for my husband. He loves wearing it to work.
He works in retail and absolutely notices that the days he has it on, customers and coworkers (male and female, but especially female) are friendlier and tend to stand closer to him.

- Roll-on pheromone enhancer
Unlike some of the other pheromone products that make lofty and questionable claims (we’re looking at you, Nexus Pheromones), Pure Instinct has been helping people enhance their sex appeal for 20 years.
Infused with androstenone and copulin compounds, two fo the most powerful human pheromones, it’s a roll-on that can be used alone or in conjunction with your favorite cologne.
I have used this product for 12 years. It never fails to get me laid by the end of the night!

- Modern and invigorating
The first of two Versace scents to make the list, Pour Homme is the ideal cologne for modern gentlemen.
Hints of black pepper and papyrus wood give it a distinctly manly smell, while the base blends seductive mineral musk with tonka beans and saffron, resulting in a smooth scent that evokes a lot of compliments from the opposite sex.
Be careful when your husband wears this! You may not make it to events on time and when you arrive you’ll need equipment to keep the women off!
He may not be able to venture out alone because the scent drives women wild and they’ll start mobbing him! Seriously this is my favorite cologne for my husband to wear!

- Rugged and mature scent
Whereas Versace Pour Homme has a lighter scent that’s best for warmer climates or hotter times of year, Dylan Blue has notes of amber, woods and musk that make it better for winters.
If you’re set on Versace and don’t mind splurging, you could pick up both Pour Homme and Dylan Blue and rotate them throughout the year.
But if you just want to invest in one that you can wear on a wide range of different occasions, your best bet is to let your climate dictate the choice:
If you live somewhere that never gets too cold, go for Pour Homme. But if you regularly experience all four seasons, Dylan Blue will be better for casual use.
It is very masculine with hints of citrus and a slight “fresh” or “powdery” scent…
It leans slightly more to a fruity smell than floral but is not feminine at all. The papyrus adds a wonderful woodsy scent to it as well. I highly recommend this.

- Spicy and sophisticated
Don’t let the Johnny Depp ads deter you:
Sauvage is a sexy scent.
Top notes of Calabrian bergamot give way to spicy notes of sichuan pepper, lavender and pink pepper in the middle, providing a fresh, raw scent that’s cultured and cultivated.
Love the smell it’s sexy and if a man wants to get lucky spray this before he goes out on the town

- Rugged and refined
With a fresh, green scent that balances woodsy ruggedness with cultured refinement, Guilty Black is an aromatic and enticing fragrance that works just as well with casual wear as it does with formal attire.
But note that is another cold-weather scent that’s better suited to fall and winter than to hot summer days.
Great scent for a night out! The woody and spicy notes makes this fragrance perfect to wear at night.

- Masculine, modern and timeless
Legend has been my go-to cologne for years now, and there are two main reasons why.
One is the fact that it smells the way I imagine James Bond smelling: masculine, modern and timeless, with a woody-floral tone provided by their signature blend of onka beans and sandalwood.
And the other is the fact that, after a particularly good first date, the girl I was out with told me how good I smelled…
…and that girl is now my wife.
This Cologne gives me orgasms every time I smell it.. This is what a real man smells like…
I’ve given this to a couple of my past boyfriends and present lovers.

- Woodsy and manly
Quite possibly the most masculine scent on this list, Dr. Squatch’s Crushed Pine cologne is perfect if you’re trying to attract the type of women who like manly men.
We’ve reviewed both Dr. Squatch’s pine tar soap and their line of natural deodorants, and found both to be among the best in their respective industries, but in both cases the one drawback of each product was the price.
However, since cologne is generally a pricier product, in this case Dr. Squatch’s offering is actually cheaper than a lot of the other scents on this list.
My husband smells so good. I love it.

- Woodsy, nutty and leathery
Another manly and masculine scent, but for completely different reasons.
Valentino’s leather-based fragrance blends the rugged aromas of leather with the rich smell of roasted coffee beans, chocolate and hazelnut for a scent that perfectly blends strength and sweetness (two things women tend to love in men).
I buy this for my husband on both Christmas and his birthday. It is a great but not overpowering scent and really stands out from its competitors.
