There aren’t many shoe styles as versatile, timeless and unimpeachable as a classic white sneaker.
Back in our father’s and grandfather’s day, leather-soled dress shoes were the go-to, and rubber sole sneakers were considered athletic shoes, and reserved strictly for sports and workouts.
But while clean white sneakers always look great, they’re not always as comfortable as you might think.
Over the years I’ve bought way more pairs of white sneakers than I care to admit (and wasted far more money than my wife actually knows about) trying to find a pair of white sneakers that both looks and feels good.
To help you find a pair of comfy white sneakers that simultaneously provides great support and elevates your personal style, below I’ve compiled the definitive list of the best white sneakers for comfort and support.

Quite possibly the most perfect pair of white sneakers I’ve ever come across, Kuru’s Roam model is my top pick because it combines a timeless casual look with a cushioned insole, making them a great option for everyday wear.
Kuru specializes in shoes that address and alleviate various forms of foot pain, which is why we included a number of their models in our roundup of the best shoes for guys with plantar fasciitis.
Like many of their shoes, the Roam boasts their Cloud midsole, which uses the kind of advanced blend of EVA foams that you’d usually only find in high-end running shoes, and has a durable rubber outsole that gives the shoe a long life span.
But what I love about this particular pair of shoes is the fact that it wraps all of that comfort in a sleek look that rivals even the most iconic white shoes, like the famed (but in my opinion, not nearly as comfortable) Adidas Stan Smiths.
They’re some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned, and their unique blend of comfort and style has made them my favorite white sneakers.
I just bought my first pair and have been wearing them for a few weeks. I have knee problems and my knees already have had less pain after wearing these shoes.
I almost can’t believe how much wearing these shoes has helped my knees. They are incredibly comfortable. And the style is very classy.
Most Comfortable White Sneakers For Travel ↓

The line between a dressy pair of leather shoes and a comfortable pair of sneakers has never been blurrier, thanks in no small part to companies like Wolf & Shepherd.
The Cruise is one of the new styles that makes this distinction even less clear, much to the delight of clotheshorses who value comfort.
Cruise sneakers have a unique design that combines a smooth leather upper and sleek toe shape with cushioned footbed, a high-density TPU sole and comfort layered-foam construction, resulting in white kicks that are kind of chameleons.
Throw these shoes on with jeans and a white t-shirt, and they look like a sharp pair of classic leather sneakers (albeit with a slightly more stylish toe shape).
But pair them with khakis or even a suit, and they suddenly look less like a casual shoe and more like a white pair of dress shoes.
That ability to dress up or down makes them perfect for travel, because it eliminates the need to bring one pair of athletic sneakers for long days spent pounding the pavement, and another pair in a more classic style for dinners and dressier occasions.
These shoes have everything you’ll ever need. Premium style, comfort that makes your feet feel like it’s walking on air, versatility to go with any fit either formal or casual, and quality that lasts.s.

Most Comfortable White Sneakers With Arch Support ↓

Anyone with high arches knows how painful it can be to wear shoes with bad arch support, which is where Aetrex comes in.
Their arch-support sneakers boast the company’s orthotic system, which features their UltraSky cushioning that helps relieve pain and support natural alignment.
Until recently, orthotic shoes always looked pretty obvious, because the chunky sole was a dead giveaway that your shoes were made for medical reasons first, and style a (very) distant second.
But nowadays a lot of the biggest sneaker brands have adopted a similar look, which means you can rock a pair of comfortable white sneakers like these without sacrificing any style points.
My husband says these are the only sneakers he will ever wear! His feet never hurt when he walks in them. He loves the all over support.

We’ve included different styles of Hokas on most of our lists of shoes for guys who spend a long time on their feet, and with good reason.
I wouldn’t quite say that they have the market cornered on comfort, but they’re certainly at the head of the pack.
The Clifton model features a classic lace-up design and is available in wide sizes, which makes it easier for guys with wide feet to find a proper fit.
Like most different styles of Hoka, they have a large and extremely well cushioned sole that makes them comfortable right from the first wear, and a great sneaker for guys who spend a lot of time on their feet.
Love the colors and the support, a great cushioning. The curvature of the sole makes walking a natural motion without the dragging feeling…
If you have wide feet and a high arch, these shoes are for you.

Another option from Wolf & Shepherd, this is the right pair of white sneakers for anyone who wants to combine high fashion with high levels of comfort.
The upper is made from the same kind of Italian full-grain leather that you’d expect to get from (pricey as hell) luxury brands.
But underneath the hood, they’ve got removable insoles made from memory foam, a high-density TPU sole and foam-injected scuba lining, all of which makes them lighter and more comfortable than what you normally get from other high-quality leather pairs.
Best shoes I’ve had. Extremely comfortable… Very nice. Every time I’ve worn them I’ve received at least one compliment as to how nice they are.
I’ve bought 5 pairs of Wolf and Shepherd in the past 6 months. Duplicate purchase of these blue ones.

If you’re less concerned about fashion and just want a comfy pair of white walking shoes, look no further.
Saucony’s Omni Walker is made with their “pwrrun” midsole, which offers a ton of cushioning for city dwellers pounding the pavement each day.
As an added bonus, the upper is made from full grain leather that’s easier to clean than synthetic leather or mesh, which will help the shoe hold up well over the long haul.
I’ve been buying Saucony walking shoes for years. They are light, comfortable and have helped my feet tremendously.

Some guys prefer to skip the laces altogether, and if you’re looking for the best slip on white shoe, look no further.
New Balance’s Fresh Foam line has a breathable, synthetic upper that keeps the shoes lightweight and form-fitting, and a cushioned midsole that makes them super comfy.
I love shoes with no laces. The souls on these sneakers are so thick. I can run on concrete and it doesn’t hurt my knees or my legs. Great product!
Most Comfortable White Tennis Shoes ↓

As I mentioned above, in my opinion the Adidas Stan Smith shoes have been surpassed in terms of style and comfort.
They’re iconic, sure, and set the template for what a sharp-looking pair of clean white leather sneakers could look like.
But plenty of other brands have taken that template and added more comfort, while Adidas itself has continued to innovate, and now offers quite a few better tennis shoes.
These ones feature a breathable mesh upper, a lightweight EVA midsole and Adidas’ “Adiwear” outsole, all of which makes them much better for actually playing tennis than the classic Stan Smith models.
Ordered these tennis sneakers for my husband. He must really love them because he’s purchased about 3 pairs of this exact sneaker. They serve him well in his practices and matches.

If you’ve never worn a pair of Allbirds before, slipping them on for the first time is kind of a revelation.
Their uppers are made from a kind of lightweight, breathable wool that you don’t see very often in sneakers.
(At least, you didn’t see it very often before Allbirds took off. Nowadays there are quite a few Allbirds alternatives offering similar styles.)
In addition to some of the best materials for uppers, their cushioned insoles are made from the company’s patented SweetFoam, and offer plenty of comfort and support.
But one of the coolest things about the Tree Runners is how easy they are to clean. They’re one of the few shoes that you can actually just throw in the washing machine, making it much easier to wash off the dirt and grime that inevitably plagues plain white sneakers.
I love these shoes! They are so so so comfortable!
Most Comfortable White Canvas Sneakers ↓
- 4.4 Stars
- 147 Reviews
While Converse’s iconic Chuck Taylor model will always be a timeless, go-to style, this canvas sneak from Cole Haan is actually a lot more comfortable.
Cole Haan has carved out a niche for itself by focusing on shoes that are as comfortable as they are stylish, and their new pair of canvas sneakers has both in spades.
The upper is made from organic canvas while the lower half features their Cushioned GRANDFØAM footbed and a high-traction EVA outsole, plus elasticized laces that make them easy to slip on.
If you like Converse, you’ll love these canvas shoes. More style, more quality and so much more comfort.
These are the third pair I’ve bought and cannot say enough about how great they are. Awesome shoe!
